Welcome to Temple Emanu-El!

Thank you for your interest in Temple Emanu-El. Almost everything we do here is focused on community and learning. This year, for example, we are offering a series of programs and events under the theme, “Music and Judaism.” And we just finished making our home in Irondequoit even lovelier by restoring the second floor to include a beautiful new space for child care and a second new room for events. We would be very happy to have you join us this year for our Shabbat services, monthly brunches, Books ‘n Bagels, holiday celebrations, and special events.

There are several ways for you to learn more about us.

• Explore the rest of our website.
   
• Come to a service or event. Check our calendar for times and just show up. Chances are, you’ll be noticed and introduced around as soon as you come in.

• Become a trial member. As a trial member you’ll have most of the privileges of full membership - you’ll receive our monthly Temple bulletin and occasional emails, and, if you like, be matched up with a “Temple buddy” so that you’ll enter our community already having a friend. Basically, you’ll have time to try us out and decide if you want to join our community “for real.” Trial membership is free.
