Temple Performs a Mitzvah

On Friday, July 25th twelve temple members participated in a Habitat for Humanity project to build houses for low income people. They worked at three sites, cleaning, painting, hauling cement and laying cement blocks. The evening before there was an informational meeting and a study session led by Leslie Schwartz. Following the Shabbat service on Friday evening, Rabbi Herzbrun let a study session on Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). Both study sessions resulted in a lively discussion.
