Social Action Committee

• The Social Action Committee addresses social and community issues in the Greater Rochester Area and beyond.
   
• Currently the group’s focus is on providing educational support for the Rochester City School District through activities such as literacy volunteering and book drives.
   
• The committee is always open to new members and new ideas.

Caring Community Committee

• The Caring Committee serves the needs of our temple family.
   
• We call home-bound members regularly to stay in contact.
   
• We arrange rides to services for those who need it.

Other Community Service

• Every Chanukah we serve a delicious latke lunch for disabled Jewish clients of the Monroe County Development Center.
   
• In 2007 a temple team participated in the Union for Reform Judaism’s Habitat for Humanity project.
